2 Haverford Roads Closed Through New Year's Eve: PennDOT

PECO work has forced these two Haverford Township roads to close weekdays through the end of 2025, according to PennDOT. See details here.

HAVERFORD TOWNSHIP, PA — Utility work from PECO has forced the closure of two Haverford Township roads.

College Avenue and Earlington Road are closed weekdays through Dec. 31, New Year's Eve.

According to PennDOT, College Avenue is closed weekdays between Darby and Coopertown roads.

Drivers are being directed to use Darby Road, Ardmore Avenue, Haverford Road, and College Avenue during this closure.

And Earlington Road is closed between Surrey Lane and Kathmere Road. During the closure, drivers are being detoured to Eagle Road, Darby Road, and Township Line Road/U.S. 1.

Local access is being maintained, PennDOT said.

Drivers are advised to allow extra time when traveling near the work areas because backups and delays will occur.
