Cookies, Peaches, Wine and More at Oakmont Farmers Market This Week

The Oakmont Farmers Market will be open on Wednesday, July 31.

The market is open from 3 to 7 p.m. in the Grace Chapel Parking Lot, 1 W. Eagle Road in Havertown.

The farmers market has provided a list of vendors that will be at the market this week and what they will be offering shoppers.

BACKYARD BISON

Rod will be back at the market with his tasty bison steaks and jerky. We will see him biweekly through the season.

BLUEBERRY HILL FARM 

Peg will have zucchini, eggplant, green peppers, cucumbers, potatoes, onions, yellow squash, green and yellow beans, beets, cabbage, potatoes, hot peppers, herbs, carrots, corn, tomatoes, cantaloupes, pickles, tomatoes (heirloom, cherry, red and yellow, plum and slicing), blueberries, and blackberries. As always, she'll have dog treats too!

CONEBELLA FARM

Pam will be back at the market with Conebella's wonderful array of Cheddar and Colby based cheeses, and cheese spreads. We'll see her biweekly through the season.

This week Mike will have yellow squash, zucchini, green peppers, frying peppers, corn, red and white potatoes, green beans, cherry tomatoes, tomatoes, nectarines, donut peaches, peaches, cantaloupe, plums, blackberries, blueberries. Of course, he will have his local honey, honey spreads, bee pollen, and apple butter.

GREAT HARVEST BREAD

Darren is back at the market this week with a selection of his delicious baked goods and breads.

Two members of the Haverford Guild of Craftsmen, Helge Speth and Kate O'Hara, will be at the market this week with their artwork. Helge will be bringing her pottery and Kate O'Hara will bring her glass art and fiber jewelry. Stop by to see their beautiful creations. HGC will be at the market biweekly through the season.

LINDENHOF FARM 

This week  Axel will have plenty of fresh, all-natural, free-range chicken and turkey. He'll also bring plenty of new beef steaks, brisket, short ribs, chops, sausages (new Chicken Fiesta sausage)  and hot dogs for all your grilling needs. He will have a nice selection of patties, links, bologna and other meats just in time for summer picnics and dinners.  Check out their website for special summer pricing and more delicious foods (chicken pot pies, and farm-fresh eggs) to celebrate the middle of the summer!

MOMPOPS

Issa will be at the market this week with peach pops (100% local!) plus a few special surprises!  His popsicles are handmade and gluten free, nut free, dairy free, soy free, and 100% vegan.

NORTH STAR ORCHARD 

Shannon and Alex will be bringing peaches,  apples, heirloom tomatoes, garlic, onions, beans, eggplant, summer squash, and more!

PARADOCX VINEYARD

Kelly will be at the market with Paradocx's  locally crafted wines, and famous Paint Cans! Remember to bring your empty cans for a $2 credit toward your purchase this week. She will be at the market biweekly this season.

PUREBLEND TEA 

Kari will be at the market with hand blended whole leaf teas. All of their teas are blended with organic and fair trade ingredients. Each ounce pouch of Pureblend tea will make 10-15 cups of tea. $4.25 ea. or 3 for $12.00.

SCHAEFFER'S FLOWERS

Denny will be bringing lisianthus, zinnias, and large and small mixed bouquets.

SPOTTED HILL FARM 

Donna will be at the market with all of her wonderful soaps, lotions, shampoos, and Beat It Bug! Spray.  She will be at the market monthly through the season.

Joe will be at the market with a new pasta -Ancient Grain! He will have all of his regular fresh pastas, ravioli, gnocchi, and regional sauces.
