HAVERFORD TOWNSHIP, PA — Haverford Police have shared details on crimes that occurred over the last several weeks in the township.
These incidents occurred between April 9 and April 29.
The blotter also includes arrests made and citations issued.

- Attempted Burglary at the 200 block of Sagamore Road on April 9 at 5:51 p.m. – The victim discovered that her dining room window was open, and the window air conditioner unit was partially removed from the window. It does not appear that the actor gained access to the residence.
- Fraud at United Check Cashing, 1100 block of West Chester Pike, on April 9 at 2:33 p.m. – An unknown female cashed a $6,000 check. They were later notified that the check had already been cashed through a remote deposit.
- Fraud at the unit block of Hillcrest Avenue on April 10 at 3 p.m. – The victim received a phone call and was informed that he had missed jury duty, and they demanded he provide his bank information to pay $4,500 or he would face criminal charges. The victim recognized the scam and did not provide the information.
- Retail Theft at Giant, 100 block of W. Township Line Road, on April 10 at 2:11 p.m. – An unknown male attempted to steal $139.08 worth of merchandise. He left the merchandise behind when an employee confronted him.
- Retail Theft at Acme, 600 block of W. Lancaster Avenue, on April 11 at 3:07 p.m. – An unknown female stole $1,746.30 worth of merchandise.
- Identity Theft at the unit block of Ardmore Avenue on April 11 at 2:58 p.m. – The victim reported that someone opened a T-Mobile account and purchased three iPhones using his identity.
- Identity Theft at the unit block of Benedict Avenue on April 12 at 1:52 p.m. – Victim reported that someone attempted to finance a vehicle using his identity.
- Retail Theft at Acme, 600 block of W. Lancaster Avenue, on April 13 at 1:40 p.m. – An unknown male filled a shopping cart with groceries and exited the store without rendering payment.
- Identity Theft at the unit block of Nancy Drive on April 14 at 11:19 a.m. – Victim reported that someone opened an account at a furniture store using his identity.
- Retail Theft at Giant, 100 block of W. Township Line Road, on April 14 at 10 a.m. – An unknown female stole $187.67 worth of merchandise over six incidents.
- Identity Theft at the 200 block of Fairlamb Avenue on April 16 at 3:13 p.m. – The victim received a phone call from a person claiming to be from Amazon fraud department. The victim provided the caller with her social security number before she recognized the scam.
- Theft at Rite Aid, 1300 block of West Chester Pike, on April 17 at 6:24 p.m. – A Go Trax electric scooter was stolen.
- Retail Theft at Acme, 600 block of W. Lancaster Avenue, on April 18 at 3:11 p.m. – An employee reported that $400 worth of groceries was stolen.
- Retail Theft at Giant, 100 block of W. Township Line Road, on April 18 at 1:30 p.m. – An unknown male stole $305 worth of groceries.
- Retail Theft at Wawa, unit block of E. Eagle Road, on April 18 at 11:41 a.m. – Three unknown females stole approximately $40 worth of merchandise.
- Criminal Mischief at Conoco Gas Station, 1200 block of West Chester Pike, on April 20 at 11:43 a.m. – 33-year-old female, 1100 block of S. 52nd Street, Philadelphia, was cited for criminal mischief.
- Fraud at the unit block of Campbell Avenue on April 21 at 2:46 p.m. – The victim reported that she received a phone call from a person claiming to be from the Delaware County Sheriffs Department. They stated to her that she missed jury duty and there was a warrant for her arrest due to her failure to appear. They advised her to pay $9,125 for two citations. The victim recognized the scam and did not provide the caller with any information.
- Fraud at the 1100 block of Edgewood Road on April 21 at 4:19 p.m. – The victim reported that $5,100 of insurance premiums were paid from his bank account.
- Retail Theft at Giant, 100 block of W. Township Line Road, on April 21 at 8:17 a.m. – An unknown male stole $78.31 worth of groceries on 4/15 and the same male stole $44.53 worth of groceries on 4/16.
- Retail Theft at Giant, 100 block of W. Township Line Road, on April 21 at 12:26 p.m. – An unknown male stole $139.95 worth of merchandise on 4/12 and the same male stole $107.20 worth of merchandise on 4/15.
- Retail Theft at Giant, 100 block of W. Township Line Road, on April 22 at 2:44 p.m. – 15-year-old male was cited for the retail theft of $133.35 worth of merchandise
- Retail Theft at Lowe’s, 100 block of W. Township Line Road, on April 24 at 10:04 a.m. – An unknown male stole $389.88 worth of merchandise.
- Retail Theft at Giant, 100 block of W. Township Line Road, on April 24 at 10:30 a.m. – An unknown female stole $168 worth of merchandise.
- Retail Theft at Giant, 100 block of W. Township Line Road, on April 24 at 12:25 p.m. – An unknown female attempted to steal $459.63 worth of merchandise and a second suspect under rung $205.05 worth of merchandise at self-checkout.
- Public Drunkenness at Wynnewood Road and Belmont Avenue on April 25 at 12:06 p.m. – 21-year-oldmale, 100 block of 6th Avenue, Belmar New Jersey was cited for public drunkenness.
- Bicycle Theft at Waterford Apartments, 1900 block of Lawrence Road, on April 25 at 9:58 p.m.
- Theft at the Quadrangle, 3300 block of Darby Road, on April 25 at 3:47 p.m. – The victim reported that her Passport along with her deceased husband’s passport were stolen from her apartment.
- Identity Theft at the 1300 block of Darby Road on April 26 at 2:54 p.m. – Victim reported that two unauthorized electronic payments were made from the victim’s bank account.
- Identity Theft at the 1600 block of Surrey Lane on April 26 at 1:57 p.m. – The victim reported that someone attempted to open new lines of credit at three banks.
- Retail Theft at Wawa, 1000 block of Darby Road, on April 29 at 10:59 p.m. – An unknown male stole two cartons of cigarettes.
- Retail Theft at Giant, 100 block of W. Township Line Road, on April 29 at 12:27 p.m. – Three unknown females stole $503.90 worth of merchandise.
- Retail Theft at Wawa, 1000 block of Darby Road, on April 29 at 11:14 p.m. – An unknown male stole $50 worth of ZYN tobacco.

- 44-year-old male, 600 block of Market Street, Philadelphia. Charges: Warrant. Location: West Chester Pike and Stanton Road. Date: April 20 at 7:43 p.m.
- 66-year-old male, 5800 block of Walnut Street, Philadelphia. Charges: Retail theft, receiving stolen property, possession of drug paraphernalia and false identification to law enforcement. Location: Giant, 100 block of W. Township Line Road. Date: April 22 at 7:07 a.m.
- 18-year-old female, 3800 block of Anne Street, Drexel Hill. Charges: DUI, recklessly endangering another person, reckless driving, unlicensed driver, possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia. Location: 300 block of Brentwood Road. Date: April 22 at 7:41 p.m.
