Theft, Disorderly Conduct, Fraud, More: Haverford Crime Blotter
A teenage boy was cited for playing "ding-dong ditch" and smearing cream cheese on the front door of the residence, Haverford Police said.
HAVERFORD TOWNSHIP, PA — Haverford Police release details on crime incidents that have occurred in the township recently.
These incidents occurred between Oct. 15 and Oct. 21.
The blotter also includes arrests made and citations issued.

- Theft at the 2900 block of Haverford Road on Oct. 15 at 11:49 a.m. – Unlocked vehicle was entered, $100 was stolen from a wallet.
- Theft at the 600 block of Woodcrest Avenue on Oct. 15 at 10:37 a.m. – Unlocked vehicle was entered – Two pair of sunglasses, golf shoe bag, golf hat and loose change were stolen.
- Fraud at Wawa, 1000 block of Darby Road, on Oct. 16 at 9:15 a.m. - The victim reported that she misplaced her debit card. Multiple unauthorized purchases were made with the card before she cancelled it.
- Retail Theft at Acme, 600 block of W. Lancaster Avenue, on Oct. 16 at 1:06 a.m. – An unknown male and female stole $415.87 worth of merchandise.
- Retail Theft at Wawa, unit block of W. Manoa road, on Oct. 17 at 3:02 p.m. – A juvenile male attempted to steal energy drinks.
- Disorderly Conduct at the 100 block of Shawnee Road on Oct. 18 at 9:35 p.m. – A juvenile male was cited for disorderly conduct for playing "ding-dong ditch" and smearing cream cheese on the front door of the residence.
- Attempted Theft at Exxon Service Station, 2400 block of Haverford Road, on Oct. 21 at 2:22 p.m. – The manager reported that he believed a woman was being scammed at the Bitcoin machine. Upon arrival, police located the female at the Bitcoin machine and were able to stop her before she completed the deposit.
- Theft at the 1100 block of Edgewood Road on Oct. 21 at 1:30 p.m. – The victim reported that he was offered an online job through a company identified as "AMC." Upon completion of his tasks, he was notified that he won a "jackpot" and was instructed to deposit $5,000 of his own money into the associated account in order to claim the winnings. All communications ceased after he sent the money

- 32-year-old male, unit block of Eldon Avenue, Lansdowne. Charges: Aggravated assault and harassment. Location: West Chester Pike and Darby Road. Date: Oct. 17 at 3:30 p.m.
