Newtown Township Police Are Hiring

NEWTOWN TOWNSHIP, PA — The Newtown Township Police Department is hiring officers, and applications can be submitted now through Jan. 30, 2026.

All applicants must be at least 21 years of age with a positive attitude, a United States citizen, a high school graduate or possess a GED certification, a valid PA driver’s license, and be physically and mentally fit to perform all duties and job functions of a police officer.

Candidates must also possess a diploma from a certified Act 120 school.

One- to two-year work history as a police officer preferred.
