2nd Ave. Property Owner Guilty of Code Violations, Officials Say
A property owner in Hellertown will have to pay more than $3,000 in fines after being found guilty of code violations, borough officials said.

Hellertown Borough Council Solicitor Michael Corriere told council Monday, Aug. 19 that the owner of a property at 1231 Second Ave. "was found guilty" of citations he received for code violations at a hearing held that day.
Borough zoning and codes enforcement officer Kris Russo later told council the property owner was assessed fines totaling more than $3,000 as a result.
Russo said the property owner was found guilty of five property maintenance violations and three junked and abandoned vehicle violations.Â
