Hellertown History Author Sought by Publisher

Abby Henry, the acquisitions editor for Pennsylvania titles at Arcadia Publishing, has announced that the company is seeking an author interested in working on a pictorial history book about Hellertown.

"I have been researching Hellertown and its history, and I am trying to locate an author for a second pictorial history of the community," Henry said recently. "Arcadia published the first history of Hellertown in 2003, and it has sold very well."

Arcadia Publishing is the nation’s leading publisher of photographic history books, according to Henry.

"We are eager to publish a second pictorial history of Hellertown in our popular Images of America series of books or possibly in our Postcard History Series, and are looking for an author on the project," she said. "I'm hoping this is something someone involved with the community may be interested in taking on."

Arcadia has published hundreds of pictorial histories on communities in Pennsylvania, as well as across the U.S.
