Another Hellertown cash mob sponsored by the Borough Business Revitalization Program is planned for Tuesday, Sept. 10 at 4:30 p.m.
A cash mob is when a group of people agree to patronize a local business, where they meet to spend a minimum amount of money at a prearranged time.
The target location is kept a secret, so the business owner is surprised when his store is "mobbed."
Participants in Tuesday's cash mob should meet at Main Street and Cherry Lane in Hellertown. Parking is available nearby in the Weiss-Schantz Agency lot.
Everyone is invited to participate, but shoppers are asked to be prepared to spend a minimum of $10 at the local business.
