Arlene E. Wetzel, 84, of Hellertown [Obituary]

Arlene E. Wetzel, 84, of Hellertown died Monday, May 20, 2013 at St. Luke's University Hospital, Fountain Hill. She was the wife of the late Raymond E. Wetzel. She was born in Fountain Hill on Oct. 22, 1928 to the late Ira and Emily (Zeiner) Sloyer. She worked at the former Lehigh Dress Co., Fountain Hill as a seamstress for 29 years until retiring. She was a member of , and a 1946 graduate of Hellertown High School.

SURVIVORS

Siblings: Meryle S. Person of Allentown and Stanley D. Sloyer of Hellertown. She was predeceased by a daughter: Renee.

SERVICE

Family and friends are invited to call from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m., Thursday, May 23, 2013 at Christ Lutheran Church, 69 Main St., Hellertown. The calling hour will be followed by the service at 1:30 p.m. The interment will conclude services at Union Cemetery of Hellertown.
