Borough Man Charged With DUI Allegedly Had .27 BAC

A Hellertown man has been charged with DUI, after Colonial Regional Police say he was found to have a blood-alcohol content of .27 percent following an early-morning traffic stop on Route 191.

A Hellertown man was charged with DUI after Colonial Regional Police say he was found to have a blood-alcohol content (BAC) of .27 percent following an early-morning traffic stop on Route 191, according to an article in the Express-Times.

Franklin Levy, 38, of E. Saucon St. was stopped at 7:10 a.m. Sept. 10 for allegedly speeding, the story indicated.

The legal limit for BAC for drivers in Pennsylvania is .08 percent.
