Caroline R. Capuano, 92, St. Theresa's Member [Obituary]

Caroline R. Capuano, 92, of Hellertown, died Friday, Oct. 18, 2013 at the VNA Hospice House of St. Luke’s, Lower Saucon Township. She was the widow of Daniel Capuano Sr. (who died May 4, 2010). She was born in Bath on Oct. 18, 1921 to the late John and Martha (Kluge) Venanzi. She was a member of the Church of St. Theresa of the Child Jesus, Hellertown, and a member of the former Our Lady of Pompeii of The Holy Rosary Catholic Church, Bethlehem. She was past president of Mother of Sorrows Sodality at Our Lady of Pompeii of The Holy Rosary Catholic Church, Bethlehem. She was a 1939 graduate of Throop High School.

SURVIVORS

Children: Carol A. and her husband I. Ray Berrian of Hellertown, Daniel F. of Bethlehem; grandchildren: Gina M. Rakos and her husband Michael of Nazareth, Dr. Marc A. Sabo and his wife Dr. Denise Richardson of Williamston, N.C., Christopher Capuano of State College; great-granddaughter: Elizabeth J. Rakos. She was predeceased by a son: George J. Capuano.

SERVICE

Family and friends are invited to call from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 23, 2013 at Heintzelman Funeral Home Inc., 326 Main St., Hellertown. The calling hour will be followed by a Mass at 10 a.m. at her church, 1408 Easton Road, Hellertown. The interment will be at Union Cemetery of Hellertown.
