Police said Thursday that the items were taken from a truck in the 1800 block of Clarence Drive. They also said the incident could be related to a recent rash of burglaries in the area.

On the afternoon of March 10 police say it was reported that a truck parked in the 1800 block of Clarence Drive had been entered and "things...moved around."
Police said in a press release that the owner of the truck, Chris Reilly, reported that $140 in cash and multiple gift cards were taken from the vehicle.
According to police, Reilly said he believes the theft occurred "in the nighttime hours of March 9, 2012."
