Church to Give Away More Free Clothes Saturday

Just in time for the start of school, a local church has announced that it plans to distribute more clothing free of charge to families in need from throughout the area this Saturday starting at 9 a.m.

Mountainview Moravian Church, which is located at 331 Constitution Ave., Hellertown, held its first free clothing distribution earlier this month.

Members of the congregation have spent months collecting, sorting and cleaning thousands of donated pieces of clothing, including items for adults, juniors, children and infants.

The distribution is open to everyone. Proof of need isn't required, and there are no residency restrictions.
