'Dogs and Dads' Lookalike Contest Planned
The Saucon Valley Farmers' Market will host the unusual Father's Day contest, which is sponsored by gourmet dog treat-maker Best in Show Barkery.
Does your dad howl at the moon? Have you ever caught him sneaking a Milkbone?
No way?
That's OK, say the organizers of the upcoming "Dogs and Dads" lookalike contest, which will be held on Father's Day (June 17).

Canine pastimes aside, as long as Dad is a dog lover and has a well-behaved pooch to bring with him to the market he'll be able to enter the contest, which is being sponsored by Best in Show Barkery.
Patience Spess, whose "barkery" business sells gourmet dog treats at the weekly Hellertown market, will register the contest entrants, farmers' market chairperson Shelley Goldberg announced.

To enter the contest, dads should stop by the Best in Show Barkery booth to register for free. Dogs brought to the market must be on a leash and should be well-behaved.
"First, second and third place prizes will be awarded and all canines (will) receive a free treat for participating," Goldberg said.
The Saucon Valley Farmers' Market is held Sundays from 9am to 1pm in .
