Drinking Fountain to Be Installed on Rail Trail
The drinking fountain at Lower Saucon Township's Reading Drive trailhead will be ADA accessible and pet-friendly.

A campaign to raise funds for the installation of a drinking fountain along the Saucon Rail Trail has been a success, the rail trail's oversight commission has announced in a press release.
"Through the generosity of...donors..., an ADA accessible and pet-friendly water fountain, capable of year-round operation, will be installed at the trailhead located at the corner of Bingen Road and Reading Drive in Lower Saucon Township," the release said.
The Reading Drive trailhead is a 2.2 acre site with 20 parking spaces, a picnic area and toilet facilities, which was officially dedicated in June.
