Edward E. Stech Jr., 90, Formerly of L. Saucon [Obituary]

Edward E. Stech Jr., 90, formerly of Lower Saucon Township, died Wednesday, Sept. 4, 2013 at the VNA Hospice of St. Luke's, Lower Saucon. He was the husband of the late Marjorie A. Stech, who passed away April 16, 2011. He was born in St. Clair, Pa., on Dec. 17, 1922 to the late Edward E. Sr. and Isabelle (Parsik) Stech. Ed worked at Bethlehem Steel for 42 years, retiring as a foreman in the Rolling Mills Department in 1983. He was a member of the former St. Stanislaus Catholic Church, Bethlehem, and past president of Heights AA, Bethlehem.

SURVIVORS

Sons: Edward E. III and his wife Catherine of Fountain Hill, David P. and his wife Jill E. Youngken of Bethlehem; five grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by siblings: Helen, Isabelle and Joseph; and granddaughter: Maria Catherine.

SERVICE

Family and friends are invited to call from 9 to 10 a.m. Monday, Sept. 9, 2013 at the Heintzelman Funeral Home Inc., 326 Main St., Hellertown. The calling hour will be followed by the service at 10 a.m. The interment will conclude services at Union Cemetery of Hellertown.
