Eleanor C. Weierbach, 87, of Hellertown [Obituary]

Eleanor C. Weierbach, 87, of Hellertown, died Saturday, July 13, 2013 at her residence. She was the wife of the late Charles H. Weierbach Sr. She was born in Lower Saucon Township on Sept. 25, 1925 to the late Howard W. and Mary C. (Fox) Stauffer. Eleanor and her late husband owned and operated the former Weierbach Texaco, Dairy Delight and Ellie’s Ceramics, all in Hellertown. Eleanor was a member of Christ Lutheran Church of Lower Saucon.

SURVIVORS

Children: Charles H. Jr. and his wife Janice of Hellertown, Allan L. and his wife Janet of Danielsville, Howard Ira of Hellertown, Kathy E. Lichtenwalner of Hellertown; siblings: Andrew D. Stauffer and his wife Agnes, Marie Check, both of Bethlehem; 11 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; eight great-great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by a daughter Lenora M. Weierbach; and brothers Harold Dresher, William and Lewis Stauffer.  

SERVICE    

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, July 17, 2013 at Christ Lutheran Church of Lower Saucon, 2190 Easton Road, Bethlehem, with the Rev. Lisa K. Borrell officiating. Family and friends are invited to call from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Tuesday, July 16, 2013 at the Heintzelman Funeral Home Inc., 326 Main St., Hellertown, and 10 to 11 a.m. Wednesday in the church.
