Elizabeth 'Betty' A. Ranek, 86, of Hellertown [Obituary]

Elizabeth "Betty" A. Ranek, 86, of Hellertown, died Monday, May 6, 2013 at Gracedale, Upper Nazareth Township. She was born in Allentown on April 26, 1927 to the late Mr. and Mrs. Norman Ginter. She was the wife of Frank Ranek, who died Oct. 21, 1984. Betty was a housewife the majority of her life and also worked as a folder at SureFit Manufacturing, Bethlehem for several years.

SURVIVORS

Children: Jeffrey F. of Hellertown, Mark N. and his wife Donna of Michigan, Kim wife of Edwin Searfoss of Bethlehem; brother: Charles Ginter of Allentown; sister: Nan Bell in Maryland; grandsons: Edwin Jr. and Dustin. She was predeceased by siblings: Alice Sauerwine and Mabel Ruth.

SERVICE

Family and friends are invited to call from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. Friday, May 10, 2013 at the Heintzelman Funeral Home Inc., 326 Main St., Hellertown. The calling hour will be followed by the service at 1:30 p.m. The interment will conclude services at Laurel Cemetery, Allentown.
