'Pirate Pete's Island Christmas' at NCC

Bring the kids to Northampton Community College to see Pirate Pete and his friends team up with a secret-agent elf to prove to a 21st-century Virginia that, yes, indeed, there is a Santa Claus! "Pirate Pete's Island Christmas," written and directed by Northampton Community College associate professor of theatre Jaye Beetem, will delight children of all ages.

The play will be presented in conjunction with a holiday carnival on Saturday, Dec. 3 at 11am in Lipkin Theatre in Kopecek Hall on the Main Campus at 3835 Green Pond Road in Bethlehem. Refreshments will be served and the actors will hold a meet-and-greet after the show.

The play--minus carnival--will also be presented in a Campus Preview in Lipkin Theatre on Thursday, Dec. 1 at 11am, and in the Community Room at NCC-Monroe in Tannersville on Sunday, Dec. 4 at 2pm.

All events are open to the public. Admission is free with  a canned good for a local food bank or a monetary donation to the theatre scholarship fund.
