Expect Temporary Traffic Pattern on Rt. 412 This Week

As part of , a temporary traffic pattern will be in place near the I-78 interchange through Friday, contractor HRI Inc. announced yesterday.

"HRI’s pipe crew will be installing storm drainage at the I-78 underpass area 24 hours a day for the next four days," assistant project manager Patrick S. Hearn announced in an email to local officials. "The temporary traffic pattern will maintain a lane in each direction for the duration of this restriction."

Route 412 is currently being upgraded and the heavily-traveled road will be widened north of the interchange between I-78 and the Sands casino in Bethlehem.
