Online Fundraisers Benefiting Leithsville Fire Victims
Local sellers of Tastefully Simple and Pampered Chef products are donating proceeds from their sales this month to help the victims of the May 24 Leithsville Fire Company disaster. Facebook groups have been set up to help promote the sales.

If you're looking for ways to help contribute to , or to assist the family of accident victim John Muzyka, you should know that your options have expanded online.
Susan Deibert, a Saucon Valley-based independent sales consultant for Tastefully Simple, has created a Facebook group for a fundraiser that will benefit both  and an education fund established for the teenage son of .Â
"You can help by participating in this fundraiser between now and June 30," Deibert's Facebook page says. "One hundred percent of the profits will be split between the building fund and an education fund for John Muzyka's son."

Orders for food items can be made on the Tastefully Simple website, with "Leithsville" entered as the first name and "Building Fund" entered as the last name in the order form.
"Every box of Bountiful Beer Bread and every jar of Garlic Garlic sold helps, so don't feel like an order is too small," Deibert said.

As of Friday, she reported that about $250 had already been raised.
"Can we keep this going? YES! Wouldn't it be awesome to end this month with a $1000 donation? How about a $2000 donation?! That would be $1000 each to the fire company's building fund and John K.'s education fund in memory of his father. It IS possible!" Deibert emphasized.
She encouraged those who are already members of the Facebook group to share the fundraiser with their Facebook friends, to help spread the word.
Another online fundraiser to benefit the building fund has been established Heidi Cushard, a local sales consultant for Pampered Chef, which markets high-end kitchenware.
According to the Facebook page established for the fundraiser:
"Heidi, your Pampered Chef consultant, will donate 5% of her commission to . Pampered Chef will give also 10% of total sales for a show under $599.00 and 15% on any show over $600.00. Plus Pampered Chef will give a extra $3.00 to Leithsville when someone books a party."
Cushard's fundraiser continues through June 28 at 9pm.
"Ask around at work and the neighborhood--who needs just one or two products?" Cushard wrote on the page. "Group those orders and together we can make a difference!"
To order online, visit www.pamperedchef.biz/heidicushard, click "Shop Online" and then enter Leithsville as the organization.
"The firehouse will get FULL credit for all online orders," Cushard said. "You may opt to get (them) shipped right to your house."
