Francis J. 'Tank' Gerencser, 78, of Hellertown [Obituary]

Francis J. "Tank" Gerencser, 78, of Hellertown, died Tuesday, June 18, 2013 at his residence. He was the husband of Nancy J. (Stefancin) Gerencser. He was born in Bethlehem on Oct. 11, 1934 to the late Frank and Theresa (Groholtosky) Gerencser. Frank served our country faithfully in the U.S. Marine Corps during the Korean War. He worked in the sales department at the former Bethlehem Steel in Plate Sales for 44 years.

SURVIVORS

In addition to his loving wife of 52 years; daughter: Michele M. wife of Louis A. Gubish of Hellertown; sister: Helen Begany of Bethlehem; grandchildren: David and Kristen Gubish; great-grandson: Brayden Gubish. He was predeceased by a sister: Theresa Sodl; and a brother: Joseph.

SERVICE

Family and friends are invited to a graveside service at 10:30 a.m. Friday, June 21, 2013 at Union Cemetery of Hellertown. Online expressions of sympathy can be recorded at www.heintzelmancares.com. Arrangements are by the Heintzelman Funeral Home Inc., Hellertown.
