
Frank T. Wargo, 67, of Lower Saucon Township died Sunday, July 7, 2013 at St. Luke's University Hospital, Fountain Hill. He was the husband of Gertrude C. (Korves) Wargo. He was born in Bethlehem on Oct. 27, 1945 to the late Andrew and Anna (Prockup) Wargo. He served our country faithfully in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. Frank worked as a machinist at Mack Truck, Macungie for many years until retiring. He had also owned and operated Frank Wargo Auto Service, Coopersburg, from 1987 to 1990. He was a member of the Church of St. Theresa of the Child Jesus, Hellertown, and the VFW and American Legion posts, Allentown.

In addition to his loving wife of 23 years last May; children: Adriann M. (Brian M.) Esteves of Allentown, Geno V. Barron of Emmaus, Donna M. (Mark) Chandler of Stafford, Va., Kathy Barron of Bethlehem, Michael P. (Matilda) Barron of New Tripoli, Patrick J. Barron of Bethlehem; caregiver/grandson: Vincent Kline of Freemansburg; siblings: Andrew of Bethlehem, Rose Oswald of Hellertown; 12 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his first wife: Rose Marie Wargo; siblings: Joseph, Michael, John, Veronica Wargo, Mary Christman.

Family and friends are invited to call from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Wednesday, July 10, 2013 at the Heintzelman Funeral Home Inc., 326 Main St., Hellertown. The calling hour will be followed by the service at 8:30 p.m. Interment at the Union Cemetery of Hellertown will be held at the convenience of the family.
