Girl Scouts to Host 'Exploring Medicine' Event

The event will be held Saturday, Oct. 27 from 1 to 5pm at Pennridge High School in Perkasie.

For children and adolescents, learning from role models is often one of the most important parts of a self-discovery process that can lead to a future career path.

Local role models will be well-represented on Saturday, Oct. 27, when the Girl Scouts of Eastern Pennsylvania sponsor a "Girls Exploring Medicine" event at Pennridge High School in Perkasie from 1 to 5pm.

Attendees will have the opportunity to learn about what it's like to treat sick or injured animals, run one's own medical practice and help take care of teeth.
