Hellertown Declares Snow Emergency; Free Parking Announced

The borough of Hellertown declared a snow emergency effective at 8 a.m. today, Monday, Jan. 26.

A snow emergency was declared for the borough of Hellertown at 8 a.m. on Monday, Jan. 26, until further notice, the borough said on its Facebook page.

The borough has made free parking available in parking lots at Water Street Park, Dimmick Park, Tobias Drive Lot and Post Office Lot during the duration of the snow emergency, the borough said.

Residents who park in the parking lots are advised to park at their own risk and all vehicles must be removed by 8 a.m. on Thursday, Jan. 29.

According to the borough, Residents are advised to stay tuned to wfmz.com for cancellation of garbage and recycling.
