Hellertown's Movies in the Park Begin Aug. 2

Hellertown's annual "Movies in the Park" series kicks off on Friday, Aug. 2 with a screening of the 2013 film "Escape from Planet Earth" in Dimmick Park.

The free, family-friendly series is sponsored by the Saucon Valley Business & Friends Association.

Attendees should bring their own lawn chairs or blankets to sit on in the park.

Each screening will begin shortly after dusk, and refreshments will be available.

The following movies will also be shown as part of this year's series:

Friday, Aug. 9 - "All Dogs Go To Heaven" (1989)

Friday, Aug. 16 - "Jack The Giant Slayer" (2013)

Friday, Aug. 23 - "Oz The Great and Powerful" (2013)
