Inaugural SouthSide Bethlehem Bike Show Planned
The Downtown Bethlehem Association and Southside merchants hope a new motorcycle festival on Aug. 18 will attract at least 300 bikers.

Southside Bethlehem merchants and the Downtown Bethlehem Association are hoping no fewer than 300 motorcycle enthusiasts will descend on Third and Fourth streets Aug. 18 for the first-ever Southside Bethlehem Bike Show.
The show will include a four-category bike show with prizes for the winners. The categories are best classic, best custom, best paint and best in show. Best in show will be determined by a popular vote. The other three categories will be determined by a judges' panel.
Registration for the event is $20 with half of the proceeds going to the Muscular Dystrophy Association.

The show, which will occupy Third and Fourth streets as well as the South Bethlehem Greenway, will run from 1 to 7pm.

- A chili pepper eating contest
- Live music by the James Supra Blues Band
- A “poker walk” at participating businesses
- Motorcycle accessory vendors and bike groups
- A local restaurants food court
