iPad Education Session Scheduled for Jan. 10
The iPad Family Education Session for Saucon Valley seventh-graders and their parents will be held at the middle school from 6:30 to 7:30pm.

Parents and Saucon Valley seventh-graders are invited to attend another iPad Family Education Session on Thursday, Jan. 10 from 6:30 to 7:30pm in the middle school's Large Group Instruction Room (near the main office), the district has announced.
Students attending the session should bring their iPads with them.
Topics that will be discussed include:

- Student and shared calendars.
- Student email.
- Digital homework distribution.
The purpose of the session is for families to "learn more about some of the educational opportunities and applications that...students are experiencing," according to a flyer distributed by the district.
Seventh-grade students at Saucon Valley Middle School are using iPads as part of the district's 1:1 initiative, which is phasing in the use of tablet devices in schools.
