Kenneth C. Muschlitz, 82, of Lower Saucon [Obituary]

Kenneth C. Muschlitz died Friday, July 26, 2013.

Kenneth C. Muschlitz, 82, of Lower Saucon Township died Friday, July 26, 2013 at his residence. He was the husband of Irene L. (Legat) Muschlitz. He was born in Hellertown on March 26, 1931 to the late Harry J. and Clara E. (Reily) Muschlitz. He served our country faithfully in the U.S. Coast Guard during the Korean War and after enlisting, served at Jacksonville Beach and Miami Beach, Fla. Kenny spent a short time at Moravian College and the former Bethlehem Steel Co. He became an apprentice bricklayer and stone mason for 25 years, working for the former C.B. Haney and then continuing this profession until retirement. Kenny was devoted to many, many projects of the Saucon Valley Lions Club for 52 years and was a recipient of the Melvin Jones Fellowship Award and a member of the Edward H. Ackerman American Legion Post 397, Hellertown.

SURVIVORS

Kenny was grateful for his wonderful family, including: his loving wife of 58 years; and Lynn, John, Kay, Clifford, Kathleen, John, Jennifer, Matthew, Bryan, Kathy and Richard.
