Limousine Bus Got Stuck on Steel City Retention Wall, Police Say

Lower Saucon Township Police say they are investigating an incident in which a limousine-style bus that was attempting to make a right turn reportedly became stuck on a retention wall at Saucon Avenue and Riverside Drive in Steel City.

Lower Saucon Township Police say they are investigating an incident in which a limousine-style bus that was attempting to make a right turn reportedly became stuck on a retention wall at Saucon Avenue and Riverside Drive in Steel City.

In a news release, police said officers were dispatched to the area of the intersection after they received a report of an accident that involved a vehicle blocking traffic on the morning of Friday, Oct. 25.

When they arrived, police said, the bus was gone but a witness told them the bus's undercarriage had become lodged on the wall when the driver tried to turn onto Saucon Avenue.

Police said the driver was described as a 40- to 50-year-old Asian man.
