Loretta K. (Bender) Mease, 78, of Bethlehem Twp. [Obituary]

Loretta K. (Bender) Mease, 78, of Bethlehem Township, died Monday, May 13, 2013 at her residence. She was the wife of the late Ernest C. Mease Sr. (1988) and William E. Miller (1961). She was born in Butztown on Dec. 11, 1934 to the late Eugene and Mae (Ruch) Bender. She worked for 30 years at local textile companies until retiring, and was a member of the Ladies Garment Local Union. Loretta was a 1952 graduate of Liberty High School and a member of New Jerusalem Evangelical Lutheran Church, Lower Saucon Township.

SURVIVORS

Loving children: Carl E. Mease and wife Janice of East Stroudsburg, Carol A. wife of John S. Kiss Jr. of Bethlehem; siblings: Richard Bender and his wife Mary of Hellertown, Harriet Frey of Richlandtown; grandchildren: Olivia, Spencer, Alaina, and Parker Mease. She was predeceased by siblings: Verna Rice and Gerald Bender; and grandson: CJ Mease.

SERVICE

Family and friends are invited to call from 10 to 11 a.m. Friday, May 17, 2013 at the Heintzelman Funeral Home Inc., 326 Main St., Hellertown. The calling hour will be followed by the service at 11 a.m., with the Rev. Tricia A. McMackin officiating. The interment will conclude services at Union Cemetery of Hellertown.
