Man Lied About Age, Name, Police Say

A Lower Saucon man allegedly lied about his age and name when authorities stopped him for a vehicle code infraction on Black River Road near Alice Drive.

According to Lower Saucon Township Police, John Howard White, 31, of the 1900 block of Leithsville Road, initially told officers he did not have identification, that his name was Paul Seip, and that he was born in 1986.

"Upon further questioning, the driver stated that he was 31 years old, which did not correspond with the year of birth provided," police said. "When asked about the discrepancy, [White] confessed his real name was John White and his year of birth was 1982."

Police said White told them he lied "because he has warrants out of New Jersey," but that also turned out to be incorrect, according to the news release.

However, White was found to be driving with a suspended license, they added.

White has been charged with False ID to Law Enforcement, Driving on a Suspended License, and Driver's License Required to Be Carried and Exhibited on Demand, police said.
