Man Stole Swarovski Figurines, Police Say

Hellertown Police say a borough man stole Swarovski crystal figurines worth approximately $435 and sold them for personal gain.

In a news release, police said Jacob Tyler Amelio, 22, of the 700 block of Magnolia Road, admitted to stealing the crystal from a home in the 400 block of Constitution Avenue.

After Amelio was arrested Tuesday, police said he was arraigned on charges of theft by unlawful taking and receiving stolen property in front of District Judge David Tidd.
