Mayor: Business's Contents to Be Sold at Sheriff's Sale
Premier Urgent Care, which was located in the Shoppes at Hellertown on Main Street, closed abruptly more than a year ago.

Company representative Ben Bishop blamed the walk-in clinic's closure on staffing issues, and said it would probably reopen in September 2011.
The center never reopened, however, and its contents are now scheduled for sheriff's sale, according to the mayor of Hellertown.

Hellertown Borough Council member Mike McKenna asked Zoning Officer Kris Russo about the status of the property at Borough Council's July 16 meeting.
He said it appeared that a notice that had been posted on the exterior of the building had been "ripped down."

"It looks like somebody physically just ripped it right off," McKenna said.
Hellertown Mayor Richard Fluck told council that the interior contents of the former clinic are scheduled to be sold at sheriff's sale, and that the owner of the shopping center is seeking a new tenant for the space.
"I understand they are marketing that property," he said.
According to its website, Premier continues to operate urgent care centers in Douglassville, Exton, Oaks, Limerick and Kennett Square, in Pennsylvania, and in Cherry Hill and Logan Township, N.J.
As of July 18, a photo of the former Hellertown location was grayed out with the words "Reopening Soon" written diagonally across the photo.
Premier's Hellertown location had opened for business in early 2010.
