Middle School Students Launch Clothing Drive
The items collected by Saucon Valley Middle School students will be donated to New Bethany Ministries in Bethlehem.

Residents of a local shelter will benefit from a winter clothing drive organized by Saucon Valley students Emily Liska, Paige Medei and Alexis Royer.
The students' project, which is called The Clothesline, is a clothing drive that will continue through Jan. 17 at Saucon Valley Middle School.
According to a flyer distributed by the school district, used coats, blankets, gloves, hats, scarves, jeans, sweaters and long-sleeve shirts.

Donated items can be left in drop boxes inside the school's two main lobbies.
"This is for a good cause, so bring in your old things and feel like a good person," the girls said jointly in the flyer.
