Nominations Open for Relay for Life of S.V. Honorary Chair

If a local cancer survivor's courage has inspired you, now is the time to consider nominating him or her for a very special job: 2013 Relay for Life of Saucon Valley's honorary chairperson.

Relay, which annually raises funds for the American Cancer Society, has announced that nominations are being accepted by 2013 co-chair Carol Schneider.

"All you have to do is email me (cas68@rcn.com) with information on a local (Saucon Valley) cancer survivor," Schneider explained in an email about the nominating process. "Please include the survivor’s name and phone number and a few brief sentences explaining why you want to nominate this survivor."

Nominations are open until Feb. 15, and will be revealed at Relay for Life of Saucon Valley's Power of Purple Pasta Party on March 13 at the Meadows.
