Obituary: Gertrude M. Zimmerman, 90, of Hellertown

Gertrude M. Zimmerman, 90, of Hellertown, died Saturday, June 9, 2012 at Country Meadows, Bethlehem Township. She was the wife of James C. Zimmerman. She was born in Fountain Hill on Nov. 11, 1921 to the late August  and Caroline (Kradjel) Konrad. She worked at Casco, Hellertown as a secretary for many years until retiring. She previously worked at the former Bethlehem Steel as a secretary and as a waitress at the former Guro's Restaurant, Hellertown. She was a member of , Hellertown.

Survivors:

In addition to her loving husband; daughter-in-law: Charlotte L. Zimmerman of Bethlehem; grandchildren: Robert T. and his wife Elone T. and Lori A. wife of Erin McDevitt; great-grandsons: Liam and Sean McDevitt. She was predeceased by a son: Robert J. Zimmerman (died 2010); sisters: Estella Wisser and Caroline Kinney; and a brother: Joseph Konrad.

Service:

Family and friends are invited to call from 8:30 to 9:30am Wednesday, June 13, 2012 at the , 326 Main St., Hellertown. The calling hour will be followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10am at the church, 1408 Easton Road, Hellertown. The interment will conclude services at .
