Obituary: Karen A. Nemeth, 69, Formerly of Hellertown

Karen A. Nemeth, 69, of Tioga County, formerly of Hellertown, died Friday, Aug. 10, 2012 at her residence. She was the wife of Louis J. Nemeth. She was born in Fountain Hill on April 15, 1943 to the late Harold J. and Arlene (Weaver) Ward. Karen was a school bus driver at for many years and was a cashier at the former , Hellertown.

Survivors:

In addition to her loving husband of 50 years; children: Louis John Nemeth Jr. of Easton, Corinne E. wife of Randy L. McHenry of Spring City, Greg S. Nemeth of Bethlehem, Tricia G. wife of Willie W. Shelly Jr. of Lower Saucon Township; siblings: Thomas Ward and his wife Lena of Anchorage, Alaska and Mercer "Grump" Ward of Hellertown; grandchildren: Ciera Nemeth, Kelsey and Ward McHenry, Beth Shelly; her loving pet dogs: George and Gucci; and her cat: "Cat." She was predeceased by a son, Ward T. Nemeth, on Aug. 17, 1995; a grandson, Shane Howard Shelly, on April 29, 2009; and a sister: Janet Spindler.

Service:

Family and friends are invited to call from 10 to 11am Wednesday, Aug. 15, 2012 at the , 326 Main St., Hellertown. The calling hour will be followed by the service at 11am. Online expressions of sympathy can be recorded at www.heintzelmancares.com.
