Obituary: Katherine I. Grube, 91, of Hellertown

Katharine I. (Cope) Grube, 91, of Hellertown, died Thursday, Sept. 20, 2012 at Gracedale, Upper Nazareth Township. She was the wife of the late Elias A. Grube Jr. She was born in Lower Saucon Township on June 29, 1921 to the late Clarence J. Cope and Ellen (Paff) Cope. She was a member of Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church, Pleasant Valley, Prime Timer's Senior Citizens and Saucon Valley Community Center.

Survivors:

Loving children: Eileen K. Moyer of Bethlehem, David E. and his wife June D. of Montoursville; three grandchildren: Melissa, Michele and Nathan; two great-grandchildren: Isabella and Vivian; sister: Elaine wife of George Weiser of Bethlehem; a niece and a nephew. She was predeceased by a brother, Marvin.

Service:

Family and friends are invited to call from 9 to 10am Tuesday at Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church (Pleasant Valley), 2170 Route 212, Coopersburg. The calling hour will be followed by the service at 10am. The interment will conclude services at Woodlawn Memorial Park, Allentown. The Rev. Tyler D. Rasmussen will officiate the service.
