Obituary: Stephen 'Chip' Woroniak, 85, of Hellertown
Stephen "Chip" Woroniak, 85, of Hellertown and formerly of Macungie, died Friday, June 8, 2012.

Stephen "Chip" Woroniak, 85, of Hellertown, formerly of Macungie, died peacefully Friday, June 8, 2012 surrounded by his family at the , Lower Saucon Township. He was the husband of Myra L. (Pobanz) Woroniak. He was born in Allentown on Aug. 26, 1926 to the late John and Anna (Chuna) Woroniak. Stephen served our country faithfully in the U.S. Navy during WWII. He was an electrical superintendent for Howard P. Foley, Allentown Office, retiring in 1985. He attended an engineering school in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, where he met his loving wife. Chip was a member of Bethany United Methodist Church, Wescosville, F & AM Lodge 333 of Bykota, Florida, and Local 375 IBEW, Allentown. He loved the outdoors, especially hunting and fishing.
Survivors:
In addition to his wife of 64 years; daughters: Carol J. Cannon of Hellertown, Kim A. wife of Walter Eberts of Allentown; siblings: Josephine Peters of Allentown, John and his wife Mary of Coopersburg, Olga Muick of South Whitehall Township; and grandson: Joshua Fogerty.Â

Service:
Family and friends are invited to call from 10 to 11am Thursday at Bethany United Methodist Church, 1208 Brookside Road, Wescosville. The calling hour will be followed by the service at 11am. Online expressions of sympathy can be recorded at www.heintzelmancares.com. Arrangements are by the , Hellertown.Â
