[UPDATED] Orange Cat Named Boots Missing from Constitution Ave.

Boots' owner, Maureen Kardell, says he escaped from their house in Hellertown Thursday night.

Update (Sept. 1, 8:18pm): Boots' owner reports that he has been found. "He was found by a neighbor on the street behind us," Maureen Kardell said. "He ran at first but they were able to catch him. He seems OK, just shaky!"

A Hellertown resident is asking for help in locating her missing cat, "Boots."

Maureen Kardell announced on Hellertown Patch's Facebook page that Boots--who is an indoor cat--escaped from her home on Constitution Avenue near the Thursday night, Aug. 30.

Boots is orange with white paws and has all his claws.

He was not wearing a collar, Kardell said, "because he always manages to get out of it."

Boots is very friendly, she added, but is probably "skittish" right now.

Kardell asked anyone who has seen Boots to message her via her Facebook page.

She said she also plans to hang flyers around town on Saturday.
