Patriotic Pup 'Lily' Winner of Top Dog Contest
A seven-year-old Chi Chi Poo, Lily won the hearts of Hellertown Patch readers with her sweet face and red, white and blue outfit.

With an impressive 16 votes and a sweet, furry face, Lily is the winner of and will advance to a regional competition later this month.
Lily captured the hearts of Patch readers with her patriotic attire (appropriate for the time of year), which included an American flag-inspired hat.
A seven year-old Chi Chi Poo, Lily is "small, sweet and gentle but very protective of her family," according to Cheryl, who submitted Lily's photo for the contest.

The second place winner in the Top Dog contest, with nine votes, was Lexie.

The voting for the regional Top Dog competition runs from July 9 to 20, and again, will take place in the comments section of that article (which will be posted on Monday, July 9).
On July 23, the five regional winners will be unveiled, and they will face off to become southeastern Pennsylvania Patch’s Top Dog from July 23 to 27. The grand prize winner will be announced July 30.
