Pearl G. (Bergstresser) Dimmick, 86, of Hellertown [Obituary]

Pearl G. (Bergstresser) Dimmick, 86, of Hellertown, died Saturday, June 15, 2013 at the home of her son and daughter-in-law. She was the wife of the late Leroy J. Dimmick (died March 23, 2006). She was born in Hellertown on Aug. 17, 1926 to the late Jacob Jesse Bergstresser and Annie (Longer) Lear. She was a seamstress in various textile companies and was known for crocheting afghans and blankets and giving them to many babies and children for many years. Pearl was a member of St. Andrew's Episcopal Church, Allentown, and also attended Living Stone Fellowship, New Tripoli. Pearl was an avid baker, well known for her cookies and kiffles that she gave to everyone.

Loving son: Dennis L. and his wife Jeanine M. of Lansdale; two grandchildren: David L. Dimmick and his wife Jayme, and Angela L. Locher and her husband Ryan.

SERVICE

Family and friends are invited to call from 10 to 11 a.m. Thursday, June 20, 2013 at the Heintzelman Funeral Home Inc., 326 Main St., Hellertown. The calling hour will be followed by the service at 11:30 a.m. at St. Andrew's Episcopal Church, 1900 E. Pennsylvania Ave., Allentown, PA 18109.
