Pet Bunny Stolen, Resident Says

A resident of Moravia Street in Lower Saucon Township reports that her family's pet rabbit was taken from his hutch on Sunday, June 3.

A beloved, floppy-eared family pet went missing from his home on Moravia Street in Lower Saucon Township June 3, according to his owners.

Benjimin, a young rabbit, was stolen from his locked hutch, Paula Steuer said in an email.

"Benjimin had six locks on his doors. Someone opened the locks and took him," she said.

A black-and-white rabbit, Benjimin is two-and-a-half months old and weighs about two-and-a-half pounds.

"Benjimin is very friendly and belongs to a 12-year-old little girl who just got him for her birthday this past Mother's Day and misses him dearly," Steuer said.
