Ronald George Long Sr., 73, Worked at Express-Times

Ronald George Long Sr., 73, of Hellertown, died Tuesday, Oct. 15, 2013 at the Easton Nursing Center. He was the husband of Mary J. (Stellar) Long. He was born in Passaic, N.J. on Nov. 26, 1939 to the late George and Helen (Bealer) Long. He served our country faithfully in the U.S. Army during peacetime. Ron was a Supervisor at Surefit for 34 years and then was a District Manager for the Express-Times for 20 years until retirement.

SURVIVORS

In addition to his wife of 50 years; children: Ronald G. Jr. (Judy) of Easton, Heather A. (Brian S). Johns, Matthew M. (Kim Florey), both of Hellertown; siblings: Thomas E. (Rosemary) of Forks Township, sister Nathalie (Francis) Wehinger of Bethlehem; four grandchildren: Nicholas, Gianna, Autumn, Joel.

SERVICE

Family and friends are invited to call from 10 to 11 a.m. Friday, Oct. 18, 2013 at the Heintzelman Funeral Home Inc., 326 Main St., Hellertown. The calling hour will be followed by the service at 11 a.m. Online expressions of sympathy can be recorded at www.heintzelmancares.com.
