Saucon Valley Spirit Parade Needs Participants

Saucon Valley Spirit Parade chairman David Heintzelman has announced that participants for this year's parade are still needed.

The parade--which was --will be held Sunday, Oct. 21 at 2pm in Hellertown, with lineup from 12:30 to 1:30pm.

This year's parade theme is "Tropical Adventures" and there will be winners in a variety of categories.

There is no rain date, and the deadline to register to participate in the parade is Oct. 12.

This year's parade route will begin on Walnut Street and continue to Main Street to Water Street to Rentzheimer Drive to Durham Street to Constitution Avenue.

The Halloween season will continue in the Saucon Valley on Friday, Oct. 26, when Trick-or-Treat will be held from 6 to 8pm in Hellertown and Lower Saucon Township.
