Saucon Valley Driver's Ed Registration Dates Announced

wants to help with that, and to that end the district will be hosting Driver's Ed classes for students in late February and March.

Students do not need to be 16 or have a learner's permit in order to enroll in the course, which will be taught by an outside instructor, according to a flyer posted by the district on the webpage.

The fee to register for the course is $420--which is due upon registration--and checks should be made payable to David Moyer, 1150 Verona Drive, Pen Argyl, PA 18072. For additional information, call 610-863-6973.

According to the flyer, Moyer's program is state certified and offers attendees the opportunity to receive a "significant insurance reduction" upon successful completion, although percentages of savings vary according to age.

"Students may be licensed directly through this program," the flyer indicates.

The classroom dates and times for the winter/spring Driver's Ed course at Saucon Valley are: Feb. 22, Feb. 27, Feb. 29, March 5, March 7, March 12, March 14, March 19, March 21 and March 26.

Classes will be held in the high school cafeteria from 5 to 8pm, and space is limited.

The next Driver's Ed class at the school district will be offered this summer, according to the flyer.
