Stella T. Bartakovits, 95, Formerly of Springtown [Obituary]

Stella T. Bartakovits, 95, of Saucon Valley Manor, Hellertown, formerly of Springtown  died Sunday, March 31, 2013 at St. Luke's Hospital, Fountain Hill. She was the wife of the late Charles Bartakovits Jr. She was born in Allentown on Sept. 19, 1917 to the late John and Therese (Flisar) Toth. Stella worked for 29 years for the family of Priscilla Payne Hurd until retiring. She was a member of Christ Lutheran Church, Springtown, and Springtown Volunteer Fire Company Auxiliary for 64 years.

SURVIVORS

Children: Richard and his wife Barbara of Springtown, Barry and his wife Sharon of Bethlehem, Marian wife of Jay Szakacs of Springtown; three grandchildren: Rick, Kim Mostek, Troy; two great-grandchildren: Tyler Mostek and Jacob; daughter-in-law: Victoria of Springtown. She was predeceased by son: Charles L. Bartakovits II, who died July 7, 2009; siblings: Geza Toth, Mary Gross, John Toth.

SERVICE

Family and friends are invited to call from 6 to 7:30pm Wednesday, April 3, 2013 at the Heintzelman Funeral Home Inc., 326 Main St., Hellertown. The service will be at 10am Thursday at the funeral home. The interment will conclude services at Springtown Cemetery, Springfield Township.
