Tenant's Boyfriend Hit Landlord in Face, Police Say
A man who was allegedly angry that his girlfriend's security deposit wasn't returned when he requested it hit her landlord in the face before fleeing with her, according to police.

A man who was allegedly angry that his girlfriend's security deposit wasn't returned when he requested it hit her landlord in the face before fleeing with her, Lower Saucon Township Police said in a news release.
According to police, Robert Ahart, of Stoneridge Apartments, Palmerton, became angry when the landlord refused to immediately return the deposit and back rent "since the move was not complete and the apartment inspected."
The alleged assault occurred on the morning of Sept. 29 in the 2600 block of Applebutter Road, where the woman had been living in a garage apartment, police said.Â
