Video: How to Manage Your Business's Free Patch Listing

Ridiculously Easy!

We want local businesses to join Patch because, after all, we want to make life ridiculously easy for you and your neighbors.

Simply log in and find your business by clicking on the magnifying glass in the upper right-hand corner of the homepage and searching for it by name. Then claim your business's listing for free by clicking on "Do you own or manage this location? Claim it!" on the right side of the listing (underneath its photos).

Why? Well, for starters you will have several free tools at your fingertips once you join the Patch family!

Once You're In!

Once you are approved, start by clicking the "Manage Your Listing" button on the left side of your listing to access your dashboard.

The dashboard will show you several tools:

• Your Stats
• Edit listing
• Manage Photos & Media
• Reviews
• Paid Tools 
• Contact Sales

Your Stats:

See who's rated and reviewed your business. And who's following your listing. You can e-mail your customers to seek out more reviews and link the "Directory" to your Facebook and Twitter accounts.

Edit Listing:

Add photos, website information, hours of operation, contact information and more under the "Basic Info" tab. Some of this information cannot be changed, but you can request a new description if you think your business is inaccurately described.

Choose "Extra Info" to add information like the founding date of your business, what kinds of payments are accepted, if there's on-street parking available, and more.

Manage Photos & Media:

Add and edit photos and choose which image is featured. If you have video or PDFs, you would add that here, too.

Reviews:

You can see what people have to say about your business and respond to each review personally.

Paid Tools:

You can upgrade your listing with a video profile, add a message from the owner and become a featured business on the "Places" page for a fee. You can learn more about these options and how to get in touch with a sales team member.
